Cancel Log in to your account page. Under Your plan, click CHANGE PLAN. Scroll to Spotify Free and click CANCEL PREMIUM. Continue through to the confirmation message. Go to 'Settings' 'Application Manager'. Locate your Spotify app and click to open the app management window. Click 'Storage' 'CLEAR CACHE' to delete the data directly.

To cancel your Spotify subscription:
Go to www.spotify.com and log in.
Click Subscription in the left-hand menu.
Click Cancel Your Subscription.
Click one of the options given answering why you want to cancel, and then click Continue.
Click Cancel Your Subscription if you’re sure you want to cancel.
And that’s it! Along the way Spotify will offer advice on how to better use the service to convince you to not cancel. But if it’s what you want to do, don’t let them sway you!
